COURSE POLICY

1. Masters must come to classes pre-prepared for the forthcoming theme of the lecture with an essay on the topic.

2. The lecture takes place in the form of discussion.

3. Masters are awarded scores based on the quality of the essay and activity during the discussion of the lecture questions.

 

KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT

Assessment criteria:

• knowledge of the latest achievements of world science as well as scientists of S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro-Technical University on improvement methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases that cause economic and social damage to the country;
• mastering modern approaches to the creation of strains of prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms and mammals - the producers of biologically active substances;
• acquaintance with state, problems and tendencies of development of the cellular and genetic engineering in veterinary medicine and animal husbandry
• knowledge of issues related to biosafety in modern Biotechnology

•the ability to solve problems by applying acquired knowledge

GRADING SYSTEM

The policy of assessment is based on a 100-scores system and provides the following distribution of points: the current and intermediate control is assigned a total of 60 scores, the final control - 40 scores.
