Требования к выполнению контрольных работ
Контрольные работы относятся к обязательным точкам, предусмотренным программой по иностранному языку для экономических вузов. Контрольные работы выполняются письменно.
При положительной оценке контрольные работы защищаются устно во время сессии.
В четвертом семестре выполняется контрольная работа № 4.
Выполненную контрольную работу следует отправлять на портал до начала сессии.
Подготовка к зачету:
Допуском к зачету является выполненная и защищённая контрольная работа № 4.
На зачете будьте готовы побеседовать с преподавателем по одной из предложенных тем:«Понятие и основные элементы права», «Основные категории договорного права», «Государственно-правовое устройство».
Требования к выполнению внеаудиторного чтения
Тексты по внеаудиторному чтению читаются и переводятся до сессии. На занятиях будьте готовы устно перевести несколько абзацев из каждого текста по выбору преподавателя. Незнакомые слова можно вынести отдельно в свой словарь, или подписать прямо в тексте.

Studying law in the USA
Many students say that law school is a challenge, especially in the first year where you are adjusting to a new schedule and environment. Students are typically referred to as 1Ls in their first year of law school, 2Ls in their second year and finally 3Ls in their third year.
Most first-year students have a mandatory curriculum that usually incudes Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure, Contracts, Criminal Law, Property, Torts, Legal Writing and Legal Research. These basic courses are intended to provide an overview of the broad study of law. The first year of law school may seem to be the most difficult because of the core subjects, exams, and the Socrates method. It is a method used in most law school classes in which the professor calls on students to state a case or respond to a case-based question.
Third and second-year students are usually able to choose their own classes based on their interest of legal study. They are generally free to pursue different fields of study, such as administrative law, corporate law, international law, admiralty law, intellectual property law and tax law. The American Bar Association requires that all students take an ethics course in professional responsibility. Most law classes are less about doctrine and more about learning how to analyze legal problems, read cases, identify facts and apply law to these facts. Many law schools have “law school clinics” as part of their curriculum. Clinics are intended to give practical experience in law practice.
At most schools, the grade for entire course depends upon the outcome of only one or two examinations, usually in essay form, which is administered via students’ laptop computers in the classroom with the assistance of specialized software. Legal research and writing courses teach law students how to work with sources of law and write in the legal context.
