Физкультминутки на уроках английского языка

В свете современных преобразований школы возникает вопрос: “Как учителям иностранных языков, не имеющим опыта работы с младшими школьниками, начинать учить малышей?”

Если ученикам старших классов можно задать с самого начала урока быстрый темп работы и придерживаться его до звонка, то с второклашками, которые непоседливы и быстро устают, это не получается. Чтобы дети не утратили интереса к изучению иностранного языка с первых уроков, учителю необходимо хорошо знать физиологические и психологические особенности возраста.

Опыт доказывает, что самый большой интерес для младших школьников представляют игры, которые заставляют думать, дают возможность развивать свои способности, соревноваться с другими учениками. Таким играм, помогающим усвоить учебный материал на уроках английского языка, посвящено немало статей в различных методических журналах, а сейчас хотелось бы обратить внимание на динамические физкультминутки как одну из форм игры-релаксатора на уроках языка.

Выполнение ритмичных упражнений в сочетании с речевой деятельностью стимулирует интерес к учению, способствует значительному увеличению словарного запаса, развитию памяти, внимания, творческих способностей, помогает реализовать двигательную активность, присущую младшим школьникам, благоприятно сказывается на настроении детей и их эмоциональном тонусе, позволяет наладить оптимальный контакт между учителем и учащимися.

Использование физкультминуток мотивирует предстоящую деятельность учащихся, формирует положительный настрой на восприятие и усвоение учебного материала, создаёт атмосферу, в которой каждый ученик класса чувствует себя комфортно и раскованно, не боясь и не стесняясь говорить по-английски, снимает напряжение и восстанавливает работоспособность не только учеников, но и учителя.

I have fingers (hold up both hands, fingers spread) And they all belong to me, (point to self) I can make them do things – Would you like to see? (Sway back and forth) Old crocodile swims in a pool so deep, (Pretend to swim) Turtles in the sun go to sleep. (Lay head on hands and close eyes)

Hands up, clap, clap! Hands down, clap, clap! Turn yourself around and then you clap, clap! Bend left, clap, clap! Bend right, clap, clap! Turn yourself around and then you clap, clap!

One, two – tie your shoe! (Try to tie shoes)
Three, four – mop the floor! (Move as you mop the floor)
Five, six – pick up bricks! (Make an imaginary wall)
Seven, eight – wash a plate! (As you wash plates with a duster)
Nine, ten – begin again!
(That’s the end!)

Hands on your hips, hands on your knees, Put them behind you if you please. Touch your shoulders, touch your nose, Touch your ears, touch your toes.

Raise your hands high in the air, At your sides, on your hair. Raise your hands as before While you clap: one, two, three, four. I put my hands upon my hips, I turn myself around. I raise my hands above my head And then I touch the ground.

My hands upon my head I place, On my shoulders, on my face. Then I raise them up on high And make my fingers quickly fly. Then I put them in front of me And gently clap: one, two, three.

Bendy bends to any shape
He bends and stretches, he won’t break.
Try and copy the shapes he makes
And be a bendy toy.

He stretches up high
He bends down low
Nods his head “yes”
