- What is he watching today? – после чего обращает внимание детей на то, в каком грамматическом времени об этом сказано. Учитель объясняет, что всегда, если необходимо сказать о том, что бывает обычно, используется Present Simple, a для описания действий, происходящих прямо сейчас, используется Present Continuous. Дети читают таблицу и переводят предложения. Учитель обращает внимание на построение фраз.

Игра «Парные картинки” (Pelmanism)
Дети знакомились с карточками на прошлом уроке. Карточки перемешиваются и выкладываются изображением вниз. Играющие ходят по очереди. Во время своего хода игрок переворачивает две произвольные карточки. Если выпала пара: картинка и соответствующее предложение, игрок забирает ее себе и ходит еще один раз. Если выпали разрозненные карточки, игрок переворачивает их обратно. ВАЖНО: не взятые карточки НЕЛЬЗЯ ПЕРЕКЛАДЫВАТЬ. Таким образом, все игроки примерно запоминают расположение все большего и большего числа карточек, что позволяет делать все более и более результативные ходы.
Необходимость запоминать расположение карточек держит внимание всех игроков, вне зависимости от того, чей ход. Тем не менее, детям все равно трудно долго ждать своего хода, поэтому не рекомендуется играть с одним комплектом группе, состоящей более чем из 4 игроков, лучше взять 2 комплекта и играть по двое-трое.
Teacher: Let’s play a game. Your task is to take pairs of cards: the picture and the sentence about this picture.
When it is your turn, you put two cards face up. If they are a pair, you take them and make another try. If they are not a pair, you put them back, exactly to their place. The next player puts two cards face up… Look carefully and remember the place of each card.
