- To be a good (cook/waiter/waitress, shop assistant/seller, accountant, receptionist/hotel administrator) I must know:
(1- different ways of cooking, how to serve meal /lay the table, how to use kitchen equipment, supervise the food store, make the menu)
(2- how to use shop / office equipment, how to serve and contact with a customer, to display different types of goods.)
(3- how to use various office equipment, operate a computer, be familiar with business correspondence and records, how to do books; The job of an accountant is to apply the principles of accounting, analyze financial information and prepare financial reports, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position, using calculator or computer.
(4- how to make checking-in and checking-out procedures, prepare arrival/departure lists, welcome guests, show guests to rooms, deal with correspondence, deal with guests’ problems) (I think that the job of a manager is to motivate, coordinate and control other workers. The profession needs the following qualities as: enterprise, the ability to foresee, and to make decisions, analyze and risk. It needs the ability to keep promises. The person should also be communicative and know how to handle people and direct them effectively. He should know at least one foreign language.)
