They say life in the countryside is healthier. What do you like more a city or a country? Are you a city or a country mouse?
I would like to tell you about pluses and minuses of life in the city and in the country.
First, I would like to tell you about pluses and minuses of the city life.
You know, in the city people lead unhealthy lifestyle, and you can’t find cheap dwelling because the cost of living is high, On the other hand, there are a lot of shops, cinemas and theatres. There is convenient public transport and the rate of unemployment is low, so it is easy to find a job.
Now I would like to tell you about pluses and minuses of the life in the country.
As for the country, people have high quality lifestyle there. There are beautiful landscapes and fresh air, peace and quiet but there are no shops, where you can buy designer clothes. People are friendly and helpful. And the rate of unemployment is high and it is difficult to find a job.
To conclude, I would like to say that I like living both in the city and in the country, because in the city there are a lot of shops, cinemas and theatres and in the country the air is fresh. (11 предложений)

Many people say that reading gives you relaxation and improves your imagination. What is reading for you? Do you like reading?
Many people think thatreading gives you relaxation and improves your imagination.
We all know that there are different literary genres: detective, fiction, non- fiction, adventure, biography, poem and mystery.
Nowadays it’s very easy to find the book written in you favourite genre. You can buy it in a bookstore or an online store, or take it in a library. Books can be read everywhere! You can read at home drinking a cup of tea or coffee, you can read in a park.
For me reading is fun and relaxation. I like to read adventures or detective stories because it is interesting for me to see how the plotdevelops.

In conclusion, I would like to repeat that I like reading, because it is fun and relaxation and books help us to learn new things.

The person I admire.
Johnny Depp
The person I admire is Johnny Depp. He is an actor.
He was born in Owensboro, USA, state Kentucky. He has got two sisters and a brother. When Johnny was 15, he found a new hobby, music. His mother gave him a guitar. He learnt how to play the guitar himself. Soon he joined the band «The Kids».
In 2004 he was nominated for the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in «Pirates of the Caribbean» on Oscar.
My favourite films with him are «Pirates of the Caribbean» and “Alice in the Wonderland”, I like these films. I like how Johnny Depp plays.
Johnny has many awards for his roles in films.
I admire him because he is a bright example for me of what people can achieve if they work hard and if they are lucky.
Angelina Jolie
The person I admire most is Angelina Jolie. She is an actress.
She was born on 4th June 1975 and grew up in Los Angeles where her father worked as an actor. She studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and acted in theatre and music videos. Later, she worked as a model in London and New York before becoming a famous Hollywood actor. She has starred in many great films.
My favourite films with her are «Lara Croft» and “Maleficent”, I like these films. I like how Angelina Jolie plays.
Angelina has many awards for his roles in films.
The reason I admire Angelina is because she is a great actress. I also admire her because she does a lot of work to help poor and sick children around the world and gives a lot of money to charity.

There are a lot of Mass Media in modern world: TV, Radio, Newspaper, Magazines and the Internet.
First of all the Internet and TV are the most popular nowadays.
Let’s begin with TV. It is a very comfortable way of getting information.
You can watch shows and movies, different programmes. My favourite TV programme is _________________.
You can know what is happening in the world today by watching news. But there is one big minus about TV: if you don’t have a TV set near you, you can’t watch it.
As for the Internet, you can know the news and watch films with the help of it. You can play games. Besides you can communicate with other people from all over the world; send emails or chat. The main advantage of the Internet is that you can use it almost everywhere. But there are some disadvantages too, like Internet addiction or health problems.
To conclude, I’d like to say that personally, the Internet is more convenient for me, because I can use it everywhere.

Nearly everything we do in the world is controlled by computers. Computers are used more and more often in the world today because they are more effective than people.
They have much better memory and they can store much information. In fact, computers can do many of the things we do, but faster and better. They can predict weather, and even play chess, write poetry or compose music. We can’t live without computers in many spheres of life: medicine, science, education and others.
I use computer for listening to music, playing games, watching films, reading news. The computer helps me prepare my homework.
