An early choice of a career path is the key to success
Nowadays it is very important to choose the right career path. Some people claim that the earlier you make a choice, the more successful you will be. However, others believe the opposite.
As far as I am concerned, people who make a career choice at an early age have more chances to become successful. Firstly, they have more time to develop their professional skills. Secondly, they gain more professional experience due to their ability to receive knowledge faster than adults. Thirdly, such purpose-driven people do not waste time on unnecessary subjects, they concentrate on their speciality. That is why I think that people who choose their professional way early are more likely to become successful.
However, some people do not agree with my point of view. According to them, an early choice of a professional field is not the key to success, because it is pointless to develop one’s skills in only one sphere. Besides, young people might change their mind and be unhappy with their choice, so they will have less chances to achieve success in life. This reasoning makes people think about the disadvantages of an early career choice.
I disagree with the opponent’s point of view. This is exactly owing to my belief that a determined person would not regret his choice. Moreover, youngsters who develop skills in only one field have more opportunities to become more advanced and successful professionals than others.
All in all, there are two different points of view on the problem. Though some people claim that success is achievable at any age, and it is strong will that is the key to it, I believethat an early choice of a career is very beneficial and leads to success. That is why I wish to find a further profession which will bring me joy as soon as possible.
