Что такое веб-квест?

Веб-квест – это исследовательское задание, выполнение которого осуществляется преимущественно посредством ресурсов Интернета.

Последовательность шагов:

Выбор темы (вопроса исследования).

Выделение подтем в рамках общей темы.

3) Составление вопросного плана (Помните, что ваши вопросы не должны ограничиваться репродукцией, т.е. Кто? Где? Когда?, а обязательно дожны быть поставлен Bigquestion (Большой вопрос), который носит исследовательский характер: Почему? Как бы вы объяснили действия…? Что, если…?)

4) Подбор Интернет-ресурсов для ответов на вопросы.

3. Process – Вопросы и ссылки, где можно найти ответы на вопросы квеста

Evaluation – составление оценочной таблицы с критериями (4 критерия).

Для оформления квеста на Интернет платформе выполните подбор иллюстративного материала.

6) Оформление веб-квеста на одном из сервисов www.questgarden.com или www.zunal.com

Выполнение вебквеста и представление его результатов в одной из устных форм (устный доклад, устный доклад с презентацией, обзор, диалог, фильм, Линия времени, радиопередача и т.п.) и написание эссе объёмом 300-500 слов.

Introduction

In mid 19th century, differences about slavery between the North and the South led to a bloody civil war when brother fought against brother.

Abraham Lincoln became president in 1860. He wanted to keep the country unified. But eleven southern states seceeded from the US and formed the Confederate States of America. The war was inevitable.

You are going to be diving into the depths of the American Civil War. This was the time where the nation was divided

And many opinions about the war were based on social, political, economical and racial issues.

Task

For this activity you will need to be divided into 2 groups to search information about the Civil War in the USA (1861-1865). The first group will work on the causes of the Civil War. The second group will work mainly on the outcomes of the war. The final result will be your oral report on the researched issue and the PPt presentation to support the report.

2. Who was the president when the Civil war started?

3. Why did the USA buy and claim more territories in the 19th century?

4. What were the main social and economic differences between the North and South?

The Big Question

Now that you have learned all this information about the political, economic and social background of the United States in the 1800s-1850s try to explain how all these contributed to the start of the Civil war.

 

 

The Second group quest.

Questions:

1. What important document was issued on September,22 1862? What did it declare? How did this document change the purpose of the Civil War? Did Lincoln issue it as a way to end the war? Explain.

2. What two things Gettysburgh is remembered for? Why were they significant? Describe them in details.

3. What is the 13th Amendment to the Constitution is famous for?

4. What was in the Homestead Act of 1862? What it led to by the beginning of the XX century?

5. Study the events of one of the Civil War battles (Battles of Gettysburg, Bull Run, Antietam, and Vicksbur). Whatcausedwins and losses?

The Big Question: Now that you have learned all this information about the events during the war try to explain what impact they had on the Civil war.
