Тема урока: Урок чтения. «Призрак Оперы»
Тип урока: Урок-ознакомление и закрепление нового материала
Цель: Обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Призрак оперы»
Задачи:
1.Обучающие: - обучение чтению с основным и детальным пониманием;
- обучение монологической речи (сообщение);
- обучение аудированию с детальным пониманием (речь учителя и одноклассников);
- обучение письму (выписки из текста, заполнение таблицы);
2.Развивающие: - развитие критического мышления (классификация информации по заданным признакам); долговременной памяти, непроизвольного и произвольного внимания;
- развитие умения сворачивать информацию при письме с последующим развертыванием в устной речи (сообщение);
- развитие познавательной мотивации;
- развитие умения конструктивного взаимодействия (умения работать в паре, группе; выслушать собеседника.
3. Воспитательные:
- воспитание положительного, уважительного и толерантного отношения к британской культуре, более глубокое осознание своей родной культуры.

Организационный этап
Мотивационный модуль. Преподаватель включает аудиофайл, после прослушивания спрашивает у обучающихся, что они чувствовали, какие ассоциации вызвала данная музыка; после прослушивания обучающиеся открывают учебник на стр.128 и читают биографию Гастона Леру. Формулируется тема урока.

Родился в Париже. Он изучал юриспруденцию и получил высшее образование в 1889. Он работал судебным репортером, театральным
критиком и журналистом. В 1905 он написал о российской Революции. Он начал писать фантастику в 1907 году.
Леру известен, прежде всего, романом Призрак Оперы (1910). Роман был переведен на английский язык в 1911 и был превращен в несколько фильмов с тех пор. История об Эрике, загубленном гении, который терроризирует Парижский оперный театр, притворяясь призраком.

It was the evening at which Opera employees gave the last festive performance to celebrate their retirement. Suddenly, the dressing room of Sorelli, one of the prima ballerinas, was occupied by half a dozen young ladies from the ballet who worked on the stage. They broke into the midst of a big mess, some laughed unnaturally, others screamed in horror. Sorelli, who wanted to be alone for a moment to prepare the speech she was about to say to the outgoing staff, looked round angrily at the insane crowd. It was little James - a girl with a snub nose, eyes like forget-me-nots, red like roses, cheeks and a white neck - which she explained in a trembling voice:
"This is a ghost!" And she closed the door.
Sorelli's dressing room was delicately decorated. A mirror, a sofa, a dressing table and a wardrobe made up the necessary furniture. On the wall was an engraving of her mother, who knew the triumphs of the old Opera. But this dressing room seemed like a palace for children from ballet, who spent time in their dressing rooms singing, quarreling, smacking dressers and hairdressers, and buying each other drinks until the bell rang on stage.
Sorelli was very superstitious. She trembled when she heard that when little James was talking about a ghost, she called her “a stupid little fool”, but then, when she became the first to believe in ghosts in general, and in the ghost of Opera in particular, she immediately asked about the details: “You have you seen him? "
“So clearly, as I see you now!” Said little James, crouching on a chair for fatigue.
Then, little Giry — the girl with eyes black as plums, hair black as ink, a dark complexion and a poor little skin stretched over poor little bones — added: "If that's the ghost, he's very ugly!" "Oh, yes!" cried the chorus of ballet girls. The ghost had appeared to them in the shape of a gentleman in dress-clothes, who had suddenly stood before them in the passage, without their knowing where he came from. He seemed to have come straight through the wall.
"Rubbish!" said one of them. "You see the ghost everywhere!"
And it was true. For several months, there had been nothing discussed at the Opera but this well-dressed ghost who stalked about the building, like a shadow, who spoke to nobody, to whom nobody dared speak and who vanished as soon as he was seen. Like a real ghost, he made no noise in walking. People began by laughing and making fun of this spectre dressed like a man of fashion or an undertaker; but the ghost legend soon grew to enormous proportions among the ballet dancers. All the girls pretended to have met this supernatural being. And those who laughed the loudest were not the most at ease. When he did not show himself, he betrayed his presence by causing accidents, for which everyone held him responsible. Whenever someone fell, or had a practical joke played on them, or lost something, it was at once the fault of the ghost.
After all, who had seen him? You meet so many well-dressed men at the Opera who are not ghosts. But his suit was peculiar. It covered a skeleton, the ballet girls said.
The chief stage designer had met the ghost on the little staircase which leads to the cellars. He had seen him for a second - for the ghost had fled - and claimed that:
"He is extraordinarily thin and his dress-coat hangs on a skeleton frame. His eyes are so deep that you can hardly see the fixed pupils. You just see two big black holes, as in a dead man's skull. His skin, which is stretched across his bones like a drum, is not white, but a nasty yellow. His nose is so little that you can't see it from the side; and the absence of that nose is a horrible thing to look at. All the hair he has is three or four long dark locks on his forehead and behind his ears."
