Лимерики как средство изучения английского языка




План исследования

Однажды на уроке Английского языка в качестве фонетической зарядки нам показали видеосюжет с лимериком “TheLionandtheMonkey” («Лев и Мартышка»).

Мне стало интересно, что такое лимерик? Можно ли самому придумать подобные стишки? Кроме того, я провела анкетирование среди 25 учащихся 5-х классов, которое показало, что 99% считают английский язык необходимым, 90% детей с интересомизучают его и 90% ответили «да» на вопрос «.Как вы считаете, могут ли забавные юмористические стишки сделать изучение языка увлекательным занятием? (Приложение 1).

Таким образом, я увидела, насколько эта тема актуальна.

И я решила заняться исследовательской работой на тему “Лимерики как средство изучения английского языка”.

Цели: доказать, что лимерики способствуют развитию лингвистической компетентности учащихся

Задачи:

1. Узнать, что такое лимерики.

2. Выявить особенности формы и содержания лимерика и составить памятку их написания.

3. Провести лингвистический эксперимент по созданию лимериков.

4. Создать сборник лимериков с иллюстрациями

 

Гипотеза: предположили, что изучение лимериков будет способствовать формированию лингвистической компетентности и повышению интереса к изучению английского языка.

Объект исследования: лимерики.

 

Предмет исследования: особенности формы и содержания лимериков.

 

Методы исследования: сравнительно-сопоставительный, метод лингвистического описания, экспериментальный метод, анкетирование.

 

 

Мы проанализировали 15 стихов Э.Лира.

Almost every country has its own poetry, which shows how unique that country is.

One of the famous types of English literature is Limerick. It is one of the many poetic

styles, the easiest to learn and play with. Limericks are short poems of five lines having

rhyme structure AABBA. It is officially described as a form of ‘anapestic trimeter’.

Variants of the form of poetry referred to as Limerick poems can be traced back to the

fourteenth century. Limericks were used in Nursery Rhymes and other poems for children.

 

The subject of my research is the Limerick poetry and the object is one of the greatest

Limerick’s authors Edward Lear.

 

I have chosen this theme as it’s interesting and attractive for me and also because of

my desire to learn more about creativity of Edward Lear and Limerick poems.

 

The introduction to this work is based on the choice of this theme, the actuality of

the aim and specific problems. To write this work I studied a question from all sides with

particular focus on the form and style of Limericks. Special attention is dedicated to

fascinating facts about Limerick’s history and origin.

 

The first chapter shows how exactly people create these rhymes, who create this

rhymes, structure of Limerick.

 

The second chapter is devoted to nursery rhymes that have a lot of similarities with limericks.

 

In the third chapter Edward Lear’s poetry and some examples of Limerick are considered.

 

The conclusion generalizes all the results of the work and forms its primary conclusions.

The main aim in writing this paper is to observe that Limericks have remained popular

over the years and to prove that senseless poetry is rather interesting subject for research.

For this research I used historical and philological literature, some websites related to

my theme and also books of limericks.
