Since ancient times, the ability of sewing was considered as a male and female skill. The simplest socks darning and sewing of collars were categorically rejected by men, but the high art to create fashion things at all times was considered as an occupation for men. The fashion of many centuries was connected with the clothes due to the fact that it’s the most popular object of everyday life. Tailors who used a needle and thread in their profession helped trendy people a lot.

A perfectly tailored suit, elegant, original dress, fashionable coat and many other women, men and children pieces of outer and under clothes: light dress, underwear, knitwear – all these things are the result of tailor’s labor and skills. It’s enough for tailor to glance at you in order to understand which style suits you, hide the defects of your figure and demonstrate advantages. It’s the greatest pleasure for the tailor to look at the beautifully and tastefully dressed people, see their happy and satisfied faces and feel himself a creator of this beauty.

Everyone would like to sew professionally and make something attractive and stylish from the piece of cloth, but this talent is given not for everybody.

The function of the teacher of technology is the development of original models of clothes, which account for the individual features of students, and technological conditions of their productions.

If earlier it was enough of teacher performance as s conscientious performer, nowadays it is necessary to have the professional skills, spontaneous creativity and masterly use the profession.

Technologist are those specialists who can perform technological handling of even the most complex pieces of clothes and gather all these parts into one finished product.
