Does the room have a shower / a bath?

Does the room have air conditioning?

Is there a safe deposit box in the room?

Is there television in the room?

Is there a telephone in the room? Are local calls free?

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

When is breakfast served?

Can I get Internet access in the hotel? Where can I send a fax? Is there a business center in the hotel?

Is there a fitness center / a health club in the hotel?

Does the hotel have a gym?

Is there an exercise room / a workout room in the hotel? Is the use of the fitness machines free of charge?

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?

Does the hotel have any facilities for children? Is there a playroom for children in the hotel?

What facilities for the handicapped does the hotel have?

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Does the hotel offer any excursions around the city?

Does the hotel provide a shuttle bus to the airport? Do I need to reserve a seat on the bus in advance?

How do you write a letter for making reservations?

  1. Begin with a salutation

Write an appropriate salutation after the date, your name and address and other details at the beginning of the letter. The salutation could be "To whom it may concern" or "Dear Sir or Madam," for example.

  1. Be precise and to the point

Write the main body of the letter with specific details about what you need and method of payment for your requirement. Write about your reservation without fluff; use formal language, be precise and to the point. Include all relevant information, such as your contact details, your date of arrival and departure, and any particular requests.

  1. Provide important information

Inform the recipient if you have been there before, so that the management can be aware of your earlier stays. Give a short note on the kind of visit, duration and the type of accommodation you would like to have in the body of the letter. Identify how you plan to pay for the facility's services. Divide the different points you raise into paragraphs to make it easier to read and understand.

  1. Close the letter

Once you have made all of the relevant points in your letter, request a confirmation of your reservation. Reference your contact information if there is need for any further communication regarding the reservation. Indicate that you are looking forward to arriving at the destination, and thank the reader for his attention. Include a complimentary close, such as "Sincerely" or "Regards," and follow with your signature.

I am writing you this email to make reservations for one of your Deluxe Suites, preferably with an ocean view, for the dates of September 15 until September 20.
