Марк – учитель. В прошлом году он окончил университет и начал работать в школе. Он с нетерпением ждал встречи со своими учениками-подростками. Вскоре, однако, Марк почувствовал себя разочарованным и раздраженным.

В его классе есть несколько проблемных подростков, которых трудно контролировать. Двое из них употребляют наркотики, прогуливают занятия, воруют, обманывают, запугивают других учеников, дерутся. Марк боится, что эти ученики окажутся в тюрьме.

В классе также есть девочка, чье поведение шокирует. Она ругается со взрослыми, выпивает, жульничает на экзаменах и больше не живет дома.

Родители этих подростков в отчаянии. Они считают, что это их вина, потому что в каждой из этих семей – проблемы: родители разведены или в повторном браке.

Марк сочувствует подросткам и их родителям. Он хочет помочь им, поэтому собирается поехать с подростками в исправительный лагерь. Правила в этом лагере жесткие: подросткам придется расстаться с сигаретами, наркотиками, мобильными телефонами, модной одеждой, пирсингом. Они будут много путешествовать пешком, спать в палатках, учиться заботиться о себе и друг о друге, быть ответственными.

Марк надеется, что жизнь в лагере изменит подростков, и через два месяца они будут готовы вернуться домой и начать новую жизнь.
