A Review of Transgenerational Transmission of Trauma

The paper explores the phenomenon of transgenerational transmission of family history as a theoretical concept. A systematic analysis of literature is provided. The paper offers reflections on the essence of the transmission process and the content of the transmitted object. Differences between collective and family trauma are emphasized.
