| 1) Is Christmas Fun?
How Christmas is a time for fun, When all you save for the year are gone Buying gifts and be stuck in the shopping craze Long lines in the cashier lane never fail me to be amazed.
For many people,
Christmas is their favorite
Getting the things they wish for as Christmas gift, But for me, it’s not just because of that. Christmas is time for sharing the love,
and you have to remember that.

| 4) Courage
Today I opened wide my eyes,
And stared with wonder and surprise,
To see beneath November skies
An apple blossom peer;
Upon a branch as bleak as night
It gleamed exultant on my sight,
A fairy beacon burning bright
Of hope and cheer.
"Alas!" said I, "poor foolish thing,
Have you mistaken this for Spring?
Behold, the thrush has taken wing,
And Winter's near.
Serene it seemed to lift its head:
"The Winter's wrath I do not dread,
Because I am," it proudly said,
"A Pioneer.
"Some apple blossom must be first,
With beauty's urgency to burst
Into a world for joy athirst,
And so I dare;
And I shall see what none shall see -
December skies gloom over me,
And mock them with my April glee,
And fearless fare.
"And I shall hear what none shall hear -
The hardy robin piping clear,
The Storm King gallop dark and drear
Across the sky;
And I shall know what none shall know -
The silent kisses of the snow,
The Christmas candles' silver glow,
Before I die.
"Then from your frost-gemmed window pane
One morning you will look in vain,
My smile of delicate disdain
No more to see;
But though I pass before my time,
And perish in the grale and grime,
Maybe you'll have a little rhyme
To spare for me.”
8) The Weather Forecasters
The birds know the good weather is coming,
I can hear it in their song.
Even though the earth lies frozen,
They know that spring will not be long.
They can fly above the clouds,
They see what lies ahead.
They see new life is coming
Even though, the world seems dead.
If only we could see beyond
The clouds of pain and sorrow,
But we must just have faith,
That life will shine again tomorrow.

9) There once were two cats from Kilkenny.
Each thought that was one cat too many,
So they started to fight
And to scratch and to bite –
Now, instead of two cats, there aren’t any.
10)I know a young fellow named Vin
Who is really remarkably thin.
When he carries a pole
People say, “Bless my soul!
What a shock to find out you’ve a twin.”

| 2) If I thought
If I thought for just one moment that this would be my last breath, I'd tell you I'll love you forever, even beyond death. If I thought for just one moment that your face would be the last I'd see, I'd take a million pictures and save them just for me. If I thought for just one moment that your voice would be the last I'd hear, I'd listen attentively and promise not to shed a tear. If I thought for just one moment that your touch would be the last I'd feel, I'd embrace you and know that this has all been real. If I thought for just one moment that my heart would beat its last beat, I'd thank the Lord for allowing us to meet.
3) The Power of a Smile
The power of a gun can kill
and the power of fire can burn
the power of wind can chill
and the power of a mind can learn
the power of anger can rage
inside until it tears u apart
but the power of a smile
(Especially yours!)
can heal a frozen heart.
5) Get Lost In The Music
Music is part of my everyday life. It's the one thing that makes me feel alive. No matter what it could be, all music influences me. Music teaches me everything I do. After hearing the words, you know it suits you. Without music, I don't know what I would do. When I'm feeling bad, it's the only place I can go to. Music is my life, my desire. As I listen, it builds me higher. No matter what kind: rock, country, or rap, you can't convince me that any of it is crap. Whatever you're feeling,
whether it's happiness, sadness or fear, just turn it up and listen to what you hear. To me, music could never go wrong. I could listen to it all day long.
6) Dirty Face
Where did you get such a dirty face, My darling dirty-faced child? I got it from crawling along in the dirt And biting two buttons off Jeremy's shirt. I got it from chewing the roots of a rose And digging for clams in the yard with my nose. I got it from peeking into a dark cave And painting myself like a Navajo brave. I got it from playing with coal in the bin And signing my name in cement with my chin. I got if from rolling around on the rug And giving the horrible dog a big hug. I got it from finding a lost silver mine And eating sweet blackberries right off the vine. I got it from ice cream and wrestling and tears And from having more fun than you've had in years.
7)Life
CHILDREN, ye have not lived, to you it seems
Life is a lovely stalactite of dreams,
Or carnival of careless joys that leap
About your hearts like billows on the deep
In flames of amber and of amethyst.
Children, ye have not lived, ye but exist
Till some resistless hour shall rise and move
Your hearts to wake and hunger after love,
And thirst with passionate longing for the things
That burns your brows with blood-red sufferings.
Till ye have battled with great grief and fears,
And borne the conflict of dream-shattering years,
Wounded with fierce desire and worn with strife,
Children, ye have not lived: for this is life.
| | 11) I know this big owl named Stu,
Who stays up all night yelling, “Hoo!”
Once an old man walked by
And he started to cry,
And answered, “I don’t have a clue!”

| 12)A young leprechaun once was told, That life wasn't all about gold. So he agreed with them, And kept rubies and gems, And stayed rich until he was old.
13) There once was a child called Billie, Who was a gorgeous young filly. She could run and jump high, All her smiles lit the sky, And her clothes were always frilly.
