Repairman - ремонтник
Professional plumber (сантехник) is fixing (чинить) / repairing (ремонтирует) a sink in the kitchen.
To fix - чинить, устранить неисправность (мелкая поломка)
To repair – ремонтировать то, что повреждено, сломано, производить ремонтные работы (более серьезные действия, чем to fix)
To mend – чинить малогабаритные предметы, сам способ починки несущественен (чинить туфли, сумки, подштопать, подмазать, латание дыр на дорогах, крышах и заборах)
Pipes – трубы
Leakage – утечка, просачивание
To leak – течь, подтекать, просачиваться
Water tap - водопроводный кран hot tap, cold tap
