Every year in December people in Great Britain and the USA celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ*. That is why* they call this time of year 'Christmas'.
Saint Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14. People send Valentine's cards and present flowers.
Easter is also a time when people observe* certain* old traditions. It is the time when people give presents, and the Easter egg is the most popular emblem* of this holiday. Nowadays Easter eggs are usually made of chocolate in Great Britain.
